Fisher, chair of the Assembly’s Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, represents the third district, which includes Salem County and parts of Gloucester and Cumberland counties, and is expected to resign from the Legislature in about three weeks.

Gov. Corzine announced his support for Fisher yesterday at the New Jersey State Agricultural Convention in Cherry Hill.
