Give global warming a little action

Demonstrate much?

Saturday is the Global Day of Action (subtitle: International Demonstrations on Climate Change), and you can get in on it.

Visit globalclimatecampaign.org to check out some of the ways you can take part. The coordinated effort is timed to coincide with the United Nations Climate Talks in Poznan, Poland, going on now through next Friday. Its aim: Get leaders to take serious action, now, on global warming.

Or this one: On Monday at 7:30 p.m., the Essex County Greens will host a film screening at the Bloomfield College Student Center (198 Liberty St. in Bloomfield).     I was interested to find this blog. 20 years ago I had a book published on different economic concepts to point the way to a sustainable world economy. Someone who liked the book recently contacted me to suggest that I update and re-publish it as a blog. She set up the blog, and the book is now complete on the blog in a series of postings.
