Jackie Kashmer helps bats get back to nature at Bat World New Jersey, a rehabilitation center for the little guys in Alexandria Township. She’s also a bat advocate, sharing what she knows about bats’ importance as providers of all-natural pest control.

New Jersey is home to nine species of bat; most common are big browns, little browns, and eastern reds.
