Energy Master Plan debated at Rowan
At Rowan, wind was the popular kid.
Nuclear was the creepy guy lurking in the corner.
The last scheduled public hearing on the state’s Energy Master Plan took place yesterday at Rowan University.
Some commenters pressed for solar and wind power and were against nuclear power, according to the Bridgeton News.
Proponents of a new nuclear reactor, which would likely be built in Salem County (if it were built at all), said nuclear is necessary to meet Gov. Corzine’s stated energy goals.
