The day in gas spills

A tanker unleashed about 2,000 gallons of a mixture of gasoline and alcohol today while it was being unloaded in Linden.

While it spilled in the Arthur Kill, it was contained, according to the Department of Environmental Protection (via the Star-Ledger).

Also spilled today: 150 gallons of diesel fuel, onto the New Jersey Turnpike near routes 17 and 120.
