Stuff to go to this weekend, in honor of Earth Day (Tuesday):
The Earth Day Open House at the Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, a day of birdhouse building, reptile shows, recycled-material crafts, boat tours and more. Don’t miss the baby eagles. Saturday, noon-5 p.m.
The Earth Day Celebration at the Lawrence Nature Center, with guided hikes, bluegrass music, free wildflower seeds and more. Saturday, 1-4 p.m. Bring galoshes and binoculars.
Essex County’s Earth Day Celebration at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland. Go canoeing, take a birding hike, learn to compost, race toy solar-powered cars… Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Earth Day 5K run/walk and fair at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on Saturday. Registration for the race: 7:30-9:30 a.m., fair: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Maybe we’ll see you there.
The Earth Day Cleanup and Celebration in Middletown. Meet at Poricy Park at 10 a.m. for sign-in and a free breakfast. Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Mercer County Earth Day Celebration at the Mercer County Park Ice Rink, with metal detecting (?), wagon rides and more. Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Ocean City’s Earth Day celebration at the Bayside Center, 520 Bay Ave, with food, entertainment and “environmental giveaways.” Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
