9 N.J. state parks may close

Read on for the parks targeted to close under the plan, which is scheduled to go into effect July 1.
• Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Monmouth County.
• Stephens State Park, Jenny Jump State Forest and Worthington State Forest, Warren County.
• High Point State Park, Sussex County.
• Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Burlington County.
• Round Valley Recreation Area, Hunterdon County.
• Parvin State Park and Fort Mott State Park, Salem County.
The parks targeted to partially close: Ringwood State Park (Bergen and Passaic counties), D&R Canal State Park (central New Jersey) and Washington Crossing State Park (Mercer and Hunterdon counties).
