Give back, give a bike

Have a bike you don’t use? A Montclair ministry is collecting unwanted bikes, helmets and bike locks through its Spokes for Folks program. From Baristanet:
Toni’s Soup Kitchen is one of Montclair’s truly special places. This ministry, based at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 73 South Fullerton Avenue, provides up to 70 guests with a hot, nutritious meal every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Toni’s also provides medical testing and other services to those who would otherwise go without. Many of their visitors have no means of transportation around town other than walking, a need which has given birth to a program called “Spokes for Folks.”
Take your spokes to Toni’s this Saturday and the following three Saturdays, March 29, April 5 and April 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you have a donation and can’t deliver it, contact Bonnie at (973) 493-5346.
