Trump’s Meadowlands… When in Rome

Last week, Donald Trump shared his vision for the Meadowlands project he took over from EnCap: A town/office/golf course with, naturally, a replica of the 18th-century Spanish Steps in Rome. Right.
On his prospects for success (via the Record): “I’m only confident because that’s all I’ve done for my entire life. And I’ve never had a failure. I’ve never had a failure.”
In a story that appeared the next day, two state senators, an affordable housing advocate and an office-space expert all raised concerns about his proposal, which includes much more housing than EnCap had planned, and no “affordable” housing. Trump apparently doesn’t do affordable.
Oh well. He never fails, so I guess we’re stuck with it.
