Sierra Club endorses John Adler
Is John Adler (D-Camden) the greenest guy in the state legislature?
The Sierra Club’s N.J. director says he is. The club today endorsed Adler, who is campaigning for the state’s third Congressional district, a spot that will open with the retiring of Republican James Saxton. From Blue Jersey:
“There is no stronger advocate for the environment in the New Jersey legislature than John Adler,” said Jeff Tittel, Director of the New Jersey Sierra Club. “Not only has he been a leader and a champion of environmental causes, he also knows how to get things done. We believe that he will be a great asset in Washington and will take his proven legislative experience and environmental leadership to the Congress of the United States.”
The Sierra Club also endorsed Reublicans Frank LoBiondo and Leonard Lance (who are going for districts 2 and 7, respectively) and Democrats Robert Andrews, Linda Stender, Bill Pascrell, Steve Rothman, Donald Payne and Rush Holt. For a complete list of the Sierra Club’s endorsements, click here.
